Hardy Amies Savile Row copywriting & content planning

Established in 1946, Hardy Amies was a modern tailoring label based on London’s prestigious Savile Row and stocked at MR PORTER and Selfridges. The founder was a couturier to Queen Elizabeth II and made fashion history by staging the first ever menswear runway show.

After initially joining Hardy Amies as a digital marketing executive, I was later promoted to a copywriter and content planner. I ensured Hardy Amies’ conversational tone of voice was consistent across website, email, PPC ads and social media channels. Applying my strong visual eye, I was also responsible for putting together the social media content and imagery.

Digital campaigns & CRM emails

For the Black Friday sale, we ran a promotion to drive traffic to Hardy Amies’ Savile Row flagship store. Joining forces with a local roastery, we offered free coffee in store for every customer. I crafted catchy messaging for print signage and promotional emails which ultimately increased footfall on the day.

Social media captions in a relaxed, friendly & authentic tone of voice

In addition to planning weekly social media content, I wrote snappy copy to accompany Hardy Amies’ Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube posts. The goals were to build trust, increase brand awareness, reach a new customer demographic, and increase conversion. The label offered Savile Row quality suits at accessible price points in comparison to its surrounding tailors, so this was conveyed throughout the relaxed, conversational tone of voice across social media.
